It was a tough competition, but my family widdled it down to this super cute pic of Russell submitted by Spacesick. They had to narrow the line up of amazing pics and this one remained strong in every cut. Congrats to Spacesick!

Great Pic Daphne. We all love the imaginative face off between Russell and the Chicken heart. lol. It seems like the FAM had a soft spot for the RUSSmiester. Anyway congratulations to both the winners. I will contact you via e-mail so I can find out where to mail off the prizes.

My daughter will be thrilled. She had me check to see if the results were in about twenty times since Friday.
There's a lot of talent out there. Thanks, Saxton for pulling this together, so we could see everybody's work. There's a whole mess of people here whose other work I definitely plan to take a look at.
On top of that, it was just plain fun to do.
Thanks to Ralph for generously donating some fantastic prizes, that I'm sure got all of us drooling.

Sorry guys. I tried to post the links with the entries, but blogger kept them displaced from the art. Still haven't mastered the coding. I'm glad you guys are linking them here in the comments section. All the work is beautiful. I will continue to do this often following the interviews, so stay tuned for more.

Wow all the entries were amazing!! Congrats to Mr. Spacesick...your Illustration rocked!! Congrats to you to Sacks for paving the way for so many extremely cool illustrations! I was really blown away by the quality of all the entries. I had the drawing but never got around to doing a final. You bet Ill enter in the next one though.

WOW!! there where some great pieces I hadn't even seen yet. All the painted ones get mad props from me, However no complaints about the first prize winner - that was one of my favorites of the bunch. Great job spacekick and congrats to Daphne Rozum.

There are so many great artists up there that I already like and a few I didn't even know about before, so it'll be a pleasure to check out their other work. This was tons of fun! Can't wait to see what Sacks picks for the next one.
