I scanned in a pic from my sketchbook of Hadji from Johnny Quest. I Netflixed the new JQ DVD's and sketched this out, it was fun to relive my childhood memories of watching this show. The style of the show was ahead of it's time with amazing designs by Alex Toth.

Awesome Sax, i have very clear childhood memories of watching Johnny Quest wondering why they had an Indian slave boy with them.

Fantastic - that is one of the best sketches I have seen on the site - and I really love all your stuff, so that's saying a lot!

Voiced by Danny Bravo in the original 1960s version and by Rob Paulson in the 1980s and 1990s version. I suppose the "Jonny Quest" show was a trendsetter in having regular sympathetic minority characters in tv cartoons (broadcast on ABC primetime in 1963) before it became a mandatory thing for Saturday AM cartoons 1970s and onward.
