Noggin Celebrates Barack Obama

Last but not least, here is the Barack Obama spot I did for Noggin/Nickelodeon. I carried over the style I used for the African American inventors clips. If you didn't know enough about President Barack Obama, now you can learn about some of his favorite things.

If the voice sounds familiar, it's because it's the voice of Tyrone from the Backyardigans.
Here are some of my favorite stills from the movie.

This Shepard Fairey poster was my color inspiration for the spot.

Kinda nice how things worked out this way-- makes for the perfect bookend to the series!

At some point we should consider NOT politically indoctrinating our two-to-four year olds. After receiving questions from my young children that required me to provide some balanced perspective regarding Barack Obama, my family has permanently blocked noggin. Too bad, because some of the programming is terrific.

This clip smacks far too political. Honestly, would there have ever been a "Noggin Celebrates John McCain" spot? Even if there was, that would be repugnant as well. Shame on you Noggin for being a vehicle for the political indoctrination of such young children.

This reminds me of the pledge I request I received in my email recently asking me to pledge to support obama's plans. And now we see indoctrination, albeit a soft peddling type, of our precious children before they can even think rationally. I am getting more and more nervous by the day.

Saxton: Those spots are slick, very well done man!

Also: LMAO@ the morons bellyaching about the politics of the clip. What's political about favorite foods, collecting comic book, and whether or not somebody snores?? Unbelievable.

Was there a spot for George W. Bush? or any other previous president? of course not. Therein lies the bigger problem....it's a pro-Obama spot through and through.

I think the point that were all missing is the fact that Noggin created a cartoon out of Obama's image. If Bush, McCain and Palin weren't already a bunch of sketches, they might of been featured as well.
